Orange Knowledge & MENA Fellowship Program 2022-2023 to study at The Hague Academy (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the Orange Knowledge Fellowship Program 2022-2023. A number of different scholarship programs are available for professionals wishing to take one of The Hague Academy’s open subscription courses or bespoke training programs.

The Orange Knowledge scholarship program aims to contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development of society by strengthening the skills and knowledge of individuals, groups of individuals and organisations. The main priorities of the program are food and nutrition security; Water, Energy and Climate; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights; and security and the rule of law. Cross-cutting themes relevant to all program activities include private sector development, climate, and the inclusion of women and marginalized groups.

The MENA Fellowship Program aims to contribute to the democratic transition of participating countries in the Middle East and North Africa region. It also aims to build capacity within organizations by allowing employees to participate in short courses in various fields of study.

Eligibility

Orange Knowledge program

  • You are a national and work in one of the eligible countries: Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia , Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia.
  • You are not employed by an organization that has its own means of personnel development. For example, international development organizations or private companies;
  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience;
  • You speak and understand the English language well (all programs are in English);
  • You have written support from your employer to participate in the program and implement the return home action plan.

MENA Fellowship Program

  • You are a professional practicing in one of the ten eligible countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman and Tunisia.
  • You are 45 or younger on the application deadline, plus two weeks;
  • You are not employed by an organization that has its own means of personnel development. For example, international development organizations or private companies;
  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience;
  • You speak and understand the English language well (all programs are in English);
  • You have written support from your employer to participate in the program and implement the return home action plan.
